Here's your chance to own The FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric 14K White Gold Diamond Dial Ventura watch. Pictured in Rene Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on page 166 (yes, the same identical watch), it was released in October 1958 with an original price of $300.00. It is five times signed on the strap, dial, case, movement, and crown. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day, and has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position.
The White Gold Ventura is a very scarce model. It was released a year after the Yellow Gold version, and was not nearly as popular, being seen as "old fashioned" at that time. Hence, very few were ordered by jewelry stores, so the white gold version only accounted for about 5% of all Venturas. This is the actual watch used for the photos in Rene's book, so it is definitely as special watch.
