Here's your chance to own a FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric Meteor watch.  Pictured in Rene Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on pages 138 and 139, it was released in June 1960 with an original price of $125 with metal band, and $110 with leather strap.  It is signed on the dial, case, movement, crown, band & buckle.  It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day, and has a brand new battery just installed.  The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position.

This example has a prototype all gold dial.  These have only been obtained through the Hamilton design department, and this one was obtained directly from Rene Rondeau.

The Meteor is one of the rarest of the Hamilton Electrics, with an estimated production of about 3000.  It exemplifies the futuristic styling philosophy of Richard Arbib.  The "Space Race" was on, and what better to represent the future than a watch named Meteor with a tail trailing off at 7 o'clock.

Guaranteed to arrive in fine working order, or money back upon return, or return for any reason within 7 days for a full refund.  I am an NAWCC (National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors) member and stand behind what I sell.
