Here's your chance to own a FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric Nautilus 601 watch. Pictured in Rene Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on page 186, it was released in July of 1963 with an original price of $110.00. It is quadruple signed on the dial, case, movement, and crown. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day, and has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position.
The Nautilus 601 is one of the best looking of the Nautilus Series watches. It's cream dial with two tone metalic chapter ring, and gold markers really makes it stand out in the Nautilus series. In addition I think Hamilton made the watch stand out and different by adding a longer pointer red tipped seconds hand to reach into the flashy chapter ring. It really gives the watch a nice finishing touch. It seems surprisingly scarce to come across one, and particularly one in this fine shape.
The dial is flawless, and the case shows virtually no wear, so it is doubtful you will ever find a finer example. Don't let it slip away.
