Here's your chance to own a FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric Centaur watch. Pictured in Rene Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on page 134, it was released in July of 1965 with an original price of $125. It is quadruple signed on the dial, case, movement, and crown. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day, and has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position.
The Centaur is a rare Hamilton Electric that has an interesting case design. The bezel has a florentine finish, and tapers down from peaks at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 positions. This one is a fine example, with the florentine bezel still in nice shape, and NO BRASSING anywhere on the case. It would make a great addition to a Hamilton Electric collection.
