Here's your chance to own a FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric DIAMOND DIAL Van Horn watch.  Pictured in Rene Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on pages 193-194, it was released in January of 1957 with an original price of $300.00.  It is quadruple signed on the dial, case, crown, and movement.  It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day, and has a brand new battery just installed.  The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position.

The Van Horn was one of the original two watches introduced on January 3rd, 1957 when Hamilton announced to the world, the first battery powered watch.  It was named for John Van Horn, the director of Research and Development for Hamilton, who spearheaded the electric watch project.  It was serviced by Rene Rondeau in 2008, and will come with this certificate, along with its new certificate of service.

The diamond dial version of the Van Horn is very rare, and was priced at a very substantial $300.00 versus $175.00 for the standard dial.  That is almost double the price!!  The dial on this watch has the ORIGINAL FINISH, and is in great shape.

Guaranteed to arrive in fine working order, or money back upon return, or return for any reason within 7 days for a full refund.  I am an NAWCC (National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors) member and stand behind what I sell.
