Hamilton Electric Armco Stainless Steel Watch
Offered is this FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric Armco Stainless Steel watch. Pictured in René Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on page 198, it was released as a presentation watch for Armco Stainless Steel Corporation. It is signed on the dial, case, movement and crown. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day and has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position.
This is an unusual Hamilton Electric presentation watch in which the company's own product was used in the production of the watch. Armco's stainless steel was used for the solid stainless steel case and solid stainless steel logo on the dial. It is a unique piece of Hamilton Electric history. It has had a NEW OLD STOCK D-PIN installed in the balance, so it will run virtually as it did from the factory.
