Hamilton Electric Custom Black Dial Sea-Lectric IIB

Here's your chance to own a FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication)Hamilton Electric Sea-Lectric IIB watch.  Pictured in Rene Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on page 156, it was released in November of 1962 with an original price of $100 with Metal Band, and $89.50 with Leather Strap.  It is signed on the dial, case, movement, and crown.  It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day, and has a brand new battery just installed.  The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position. 

The Sea-Lectric IIB differs in the original Sea-Lectric II in that it has the improvement of a one piece case design with the movement inserted from the front, rather than having a screw back.  This aids in water resistance.  It is an all Stainless Steel Hamilton Electric with broad shoulders, similar to the Taurus, but in a larger scale.  It looks great with today's fashion of larger watches.  The dial has been refinished in custom black.  Hamilton never offered a black dial option, but if they had seen this watch, they might have reconsidered. It has just had a BRAND NEW OLD STOCK D-PIN installed in the balance, so it will run virtually as it did from the factory.   This is a great looking asymmetric Hamilton Electric that should not be overlooked.
