Hamilton Electric GE Altair Watch
Offered is this FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication)Hamilton Electric Altair watch. Pictured in René Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on pages 130-133, it was released in December 1961 with an original price of $125 with metal band, and $110 with leather strap. It is signed on the dial, case, crown, movement, band and buckle. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day and has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position.
This is one of only two GE Altairs known to exist. As a plus, it has had a BRAND NEW OLD STOCK D-PIN installed in the balance, so it will run virtually as it did from the factory.
