Sheffield Snail Dial "Chronograph"

This is a great looking Sheffield Snail Dial "Chronograph" watch that sets, and runs great, and keeps excellent time, with start/stop feature working correctly.  It features a Telemetre feature in KM (feature that measures distance to an event by time it takes for sound to reach observer such as time to hear thunder after seeing lightning), and a center tachymeter feature (snail look) which measures speed by time it takes to travel a mile.  

It is not the traditional Chronograph with a separate timing feature that does not affect the time keeping of the watch.  Instead, the top pusher stops the watch, and the bottom pusher re-starts it.  However, that is the way this early example was designed.
