Hamilton Electric Everest II Watch
Offered is this FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric Everest II watch with Factory "Junior Chamber of Commerce" Dial. Pictured in René Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on page136, it was released in December, 1964, with an original price of $99.50. It is signed on the dial, case, movement, and crown. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day and has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position. As a plus, it has had a BRAND NEW OLD STOCK D-PIN installed in the balance, so it will run virtually as it did from the factory.
The Everest II is similar to the Vantage watch and really bears no resemblance to the Everest. The markers are larger and bolder than the Vantage. The case is excellent with NO BRASSING. The Everest II is much more rare than the Vantage, and the bold markers and cool patterned 12 and 6 on the dial make it a real head turner.
