Hamilton Celluloid Clamshell Inner & Outer Box Circa 1940s to 50s for Milton Watch

Offered is Celluloid box used for Hamilton watches with straps/bracelets from circa 1940s to mid 50s. This example was for a Milton watch, which was introduced in 1948 according to the outer box sticker. Sometime post WW II the crest logo was dropped from the liner and "Hamilton" was written in larger block lettering as seen on this example. In 1955 the "atomic" logo boxes were introduced marking the end of the celluloid boxes. It measures 5 1/4" X 3 3/8" X 1 5/8".
