Bulova Accutron "TV" Asymmetric Case Watch Factory Florentine Bezel 14K
This is a great looking Fully Serviced vintage Asymmetric 14K Bulova Accutron TV watch that sets, and runs great. It keeps excellent time and is phased to run accurately and reliably with a standard 1.55 volt modern battery. The bezel has a factory florentine finish, which really adds to the beauty of this piece. The case is marked "M0" dating the watch to the introductory year of the Accutron, 1960. Following the "M0" in smaller font "M4" can be seen, which likely means the watch was assembled and sent out in 1964. These 14K solid gold watches were sent out on order only, and the "M4" appearing on the movement further confirms this theory. A curious 4 digit (8147) apparently factory engraved or roll marked number also appears on the case back adding a bit of added mystery to this excellent example. Interestingly as well, this is the only case that Bulova used for the Accutron with a snap back.
