Bulova Accutron Deep Sea 666 Diver World Time
This is a great looking FULLY SERVICED vintage Bulova Accutron Deep Sea 666 Diver's World Time watch that sets and runs great. It keeps excellent time. The day/date function works properly as well. The crown at 4 o'clock sets the watch and the crown at 2 o'clock turns the inner rotating bezel. Both crowns have the correct tuning fork symbol. The dial has standard applied markers for hours and in between, printed numbers for military time, in effect, giving the watch the ability to tell the time in all time zones. In order to see the time in another time zone/city, one would rotate the inner bezel to line up your current time zone with current military time. For instance, if it were 9 am, one would line up your current time zone city over 9 on the dial. Other city times can then be seen in military time around the dial. If it were 9 pm, you would line up your current time zone city over 21 (9 pm is 21 hundred hours in military time), to see current times in other cities/time zones around the dial. It might seem complicated at first, but it was actually a very handy tool before we had smart phones and makes this watch a great example of a Tool Watch.
