Hamilton Electric 14K Gold GE Pacer Breakthru '60 Watch (Ventura II)
Offered is this FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric 14K Solid Gold Pacer (Ventura II) watch. Pictured in René Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on pages 146 to 150, it was released 1960 and was intended to be given as an award watch. It is signed on the dial, case, movement, and crown. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day and has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position.
The Solid Gold Pacer was only made as an award watch and came in the first series 500A version used by GE of which an estimated 400 were made, and a later 505 version used by Kraft, and Sanders & Thomas of which an estimated 100 were made. This is one of the original GE Award watches and was serviced and authenticated by René Rondeau in 2014. It has just been freshly serviced to guarantee it's continued reliability.
