Hamilton Electric Nautilus 404 Watch
Offered is this FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric Nautilus 404 watch. Pictured in René Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on page 182, it was released in May 1964 with an original price of $125 with metal band only. It is signed on the dial, case, movement, and crown. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day. It has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position. It has just had a NEW OLD STOCK D-PIN installed in the balance, so it will run virtually as it did from the factory. Although production numbers for the 404 model are unknown, it is rarely seen. It shares the same case design as the Nautilus 400 which was introduced in 1962, and is more commonly seen (see page 180 of Rene's book for this similar model).
