Hamilton Electric Original Finish Black Dial Pacer
Offered is this FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric Pacer watch. Pictured in René Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on pages 140-145, it was released in November 1957 with an original price of $125 with metal band and $110 with leather strap. It is signed on the dial, case, crown, and movement. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day. It has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position.
The case on this Pacer is excellent, with NO BRASSING at the point at the 9 position. The Original Finish Black Dial is a great addition as well. In 1961 the "Pat. Pending" was dropped from the dial, so this dial must date from 1961 to 1963. In 1963, the dial was changed to the updated font with "H" above Hamilton, and Electric in cursive font. As a plus, it has had a BRAND NEW OLD STOCK D-PIN installed in the balance, so it will run virtually as it did from the factory. Don't let someone else grab it up first.
