Hamilton Electric Pacer RARE "Made In USA" Dial Watch
Offered is this FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric "Made In USA" Pacer watch. Pictured in René Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on pages 140-145, it was released in November 1957 with an original price of $125 with metal band, and $110 with leather strap. It is signed on the case, crown, dial and movement. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day and has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position.
This same dial style is specifically pictured on page 145 or Rene's book, and is only the second like this I have had. The first I found is in my personal collection.
The case on this Pacer is excellent, with NO BRASSING at the point at the 9 position. As a plus, it has had a BRAND NEW OLD STOCK D-PIN installed in the balance, so it will run virtually as it did from the factory.
