Hamilton Electric RR Special 51 Watch
Offered is this FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric Stainless Steel RR Special 51 watch. Pictured in René Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on page 188, it was released in September of 1962 with original price of $100 and $110 with metal bracelet. It is signed on the dial, case, movement, and crown. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day and has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position. As a plus, it has had a BRAND NEW OLD STOCK D-PIN installed in the balance, so it will run virtually as it did from the factory.
This example still has the original sticker on the back, so it could not have been worn much.
