Wittnauer Electro-Chron 4760 Watch

Offered is this great looking 4760 Wittnauer Electro-Chron watch. The nice feature of the 4760 over the much more common 4750 is that it has a "hack" feature that shuts the watch off when the crown is pulled into the setting position. This preserves both the battery and wear to the movement. Wittnauer was one of the many marketers of the Landeron, the first Swiss Electric movement, introduced in 1961. It is Fully Serviced, sets, and runs great. It keeps excellent time and will come with a brand new battery freshly installed. The hands really make it stand out.  

These were futuristic watches, and the watch companies certainly did their best to capitalize on their uniqueness.  This would be a great watch to add to a vintage Electric Watch collection.
