Wittnauer Electro-Chron Landeron 4750 Electric Watch
Offered is this NEAR MINT Wittnauer Electro-Chron watch. Wittnauer was one of the many marketers of the Landeron, the first Swiss Electric movement, introduced in 1961. This is the earlier version with two piece case back with separate battery compartment and "Electro-Chron" on the dial, rather than "Electric." The condition of this example is among the best I have seen. It is Fully Serviced. The watch sets and runs great, keeps excellent time, and will come with a brand new battery newly installed.
These were futuristic watches, and the watch companies certainly did their best to capitalize on their uniqueness.
