Hamilton Electric Pacer Kraft 14K Gold (Ventura II) Watch
Offered is this FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric 14K Solid Gold Pacer (Ventura II) watch. Pictured in René Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on pages 146 to 150, it was released 1965-67 and was intended to be given as an award watch. It is signed on the dial, case, movement, and crown. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day and has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position.
The Solid Gold Pacer was only made as an award watch. None were sold in retail stores. There were two versions of this watch. The first 400 were made for use by GE as award watches with 500A movements and Ventura style dials. A few years later, 100 were made with 505 movements and Pacer style dials. These were used mainly by Kraft and Sanders & Thomas as award watches. This example is one that went to Kraft. As a plus, it has had a NEW OLD STOCK D-PIN installed in the balance, so it will run virtually as it did from the factory. It also features a great ORIGINAL FINISH BLACK DIAL.
